WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Brooke Littrell and
Olivia Nelson each scored 20 points as the Central Missouri Jennies basketball team defeated the Fort Hays State Tigers, 79-64, Saturday, inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center.
The Jennies (18-6, 11-6 MIAA) are scheduled to play on the road against the Emporia State Hornets (11-13, 8-10 MIAA) on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 5:30 p.m. inside White Auditorium in Emporia, Kan.
Littrell went 6-of-14 from the field collecting 10 rebounds while Nelson was 7-of-13 from the floor including 2-of-6 from beyond the arc adding five rebounds for good measure. Forward
Ashley Tull ended the contest with a double-double performance (15 points and 10 rebounds), while redshirt sophomore
Graycen Holden had six points and four rebounds.
Guards
Allie Clevenger and
Ali Vigil ended the contest with five points each as Central Missouri outshot the Tigers 46.8 to 42.6 percent from the floor and 31 to 12.5 percent from beyond the arc.
