WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The University of Central Missouri track & field teams competed in a pair of meets Friday, Feb. 16.
UCM sent teams to both the Arkansas Qualifier in Fayetteville, Ark., and the Friday Night Lights Last Chance Meet in Maryville, Mo., for one final tune up before the MIAA Indoor Championships Feb. 23-25 in Topeka, Kan.
Arkansas Qualifier
Pole Vault
- The Mules went 1-3-4 in the men's pole vault. Reagan Ulrich won the event, clearing an indoor personal-best and provisional mark of 5.30m (17-04.50). His mark ranks tied for third in NCAA-II this season and fifth in UCM Indoor School History. Charlie Garino finished third with a provisional mark of 5.00m (16-04.75) and Pierson Carlisle was fourth with a provisional 4.80m (15-09.00).
Sprints
- Brooklynn Holtman recorded a personal-best in the women's 400m dash with a provisional time of 55.65, finishing 11th. Her time is fourth-fastest in UCM Indoor School History.
Friday Night Lights Last Chance Meet
Sprints/Hurdles/Distance
- Anayla Waters won the women's 400m dash with a personal-best time of 58.41.
- The Jennies went 4-5-6-7 in the women's 800m run. Ella Jett ran 2:28.69 (personal-best) for fourth, Karoline Kolie was fifth 2:30.80 for fifth, Alana Osborn was sixth at 2:31.08 and Callie Manning was seventh at 2:32.65 (personal-best).
- The Jennies finished second and fifth in the women's 60m hurdles. Jazmin Corbin was runner-up with a personal-best 9.76 while Joey Hettinger was fifth with a personal-best 10.81.
- Emily Keck and Harley Neubauer set personal bests in the women's 3,000m run. Keck ran 12:16.41 to finish eighth and Neubauer was 10th at 12:37.01.
- Malachi Howard was runner-up in the men's 60m dash with a personal-best time of 7.05. In addition, Howard had a personal-best in the men's 200m dash, finishing 10th at 22.85. Joe Marshall also tallied a personal-best in the event, finishing eighth at 7.20. Marshall also compiled a personal-best in the men's 200m dash, placing seventh at 22.78.
- Logan Grover and Sean Carolan both had personal bests in the men's 600-yard run. Grover was fourth at 1:16.38 and Carolan was sixth at 1:25.72.
- The Mules finished 1-3-4-5 in the men's mile. Asher Curp was first at 4:27.11 while Clay Pilliard was third (4:28.49 personal-best), Sam Mathis was fourth (4:29.63 personal-best) and Lucas Wright was fifth (4:33.47 personal-best).
- Tyler Adams and Dustin Brockmiller both had personal bests in the men's 3,000m run. Adams was fifth at 9:20.56 and Brockmiller was eighth at 10:02.08.
Jumps
- Joey Hettinger won the women's high jump with a personal-best 1.56m (5-01.25). Cate Cooper was second with an indoor personal-best 1.53m (5-0.25), and Marah Klover was third at 1.53m (5-0.25).
- Aubree Bell and Brooklyn Anderson set personal bests in the women's long jump. Bell placed fourth at 5.25m (17-02.75) while Anderson was eighth at 4.65m (15-3.25).
- Myah Morris won the women's triple jump with a mark of 11.02m (36-02.00).
Throws
- Rachael Molloy won the women's weight throw with a provisional throw of 18.31m (60-01.00).
- Lakan Manns set a personal-best in the women's weight throw at 13.65m (44-09.50) to finish seventh.
- Madison Mears recorded a personal-best in the women's shot put, finishing runner up at 12.56m (41-02.50).
- Demarcus Kelow, Ryan Jones, Sean Carolan and Logan Grover all set personal bests in the men's shot put. Kelow won the event at 15.94m (52-03.75), Jones was third at 13.84m (45-05.00), Carolan was fifth at 12.56m (41-02.50) and Grover was seventh at 12.21m (40-0.75).
- Addison Snowball won the men's weight throw with a mark of 17.26m (56-07.50).
