WARRENSBURG, Mo. – With ongoing renovations set to occur during the University of Central Missouri holiday break, the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center will be closed to the public from December 23, 2024, through January 8, 2025.

With Mules and Jennies basketball, Mules wrestling and Mules and Jennies indoor track & field idle the week of Dec. 22-Dec. 29, and competing away from Warrensburg through January 8, UCM Athletics will be performing several renovations to the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center, including upkeep to the basketball floor, indoor track, practice areas and other parts of the facility.

Due to these multiple projects occurring during the holiday break, the decision was made to close the arena to the public.

The facility will re-open for normal business hours in time for the basketball doubleheader against Northwest Missouri State Thursday, January 9.
