WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- No. 23-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies bowling competed in an individual format in the Mid-Missouri Challenge Saturday, Jan. 6, at the UCM Elliott Student Union Bowling Center.
The event format utilized the same NCAA match formats of a traditional multi-day event but was played as Individual matches. The event consisted of pool play (three matches) a pool seeding round (one match) and a bracket finals (one match): all pool matches earned a win, loss, or tie against the opponent.
In the event, the Jennies' top finishers were
Andrea Carolina Perez Perez (4-1, 190.4 average over five games),
Cynthia Phillips (3-2, 180.2 average over five games) and
Julia Speich (2-2-1, 180.2 average over five games).
Overall as a team, UCM averaged 172.95 in 40 total games.
Central Missouri is scheduled to compete in the NCAA Duals Jan. 11-12 in Indianapolis, Ind.
