PITTSBURG, Kan. – University of Central Missouri track & field had numerous strong performances at the Wendy's Pittsburg State Invitational Saturday, Jan. 27, inside the Robet W. Plaster Center.
Jumps/Pole Vault
- Evans Yamoah won the men's high jump invitational division, posting a NCAA-II provisional and meet record mark of 2.18m (7-1.75). His mark ties for fourth-best in NCAA-II this season.
- Maggie Klover finished second in the women's triple jump, compiling a provisional mark of 12.18m (39-11.5). Her mark is an indoor personal-best, ranks sixth in UCM Indoor history, and eighth in NCAA-II this season.
- Reagan Ulrich tied for second and Charlie Garino was fourth in the men's pole vault. Ulrich posted a provisional mark of 5.23m (17-2) while Garino cleared a provisional 5.03m (16-6). Ulrich's mark is third-best in NCAA-II this season.
- Kayla Goodwin placed fourth in the women's long jump with a mark of 5.56m (18-3).
- Zachary Proctor and Justin Hamrick went 5-6 in the men's high jump open division. Proctor was fifth with a provisional 1.94m (6-4.5) while Hamrick was sixth with a provisional 1.91m (6-3.25). Carter Bell also compiled a provisional mark, clearing 1.91m (6-3.25) on his third attempt for eighth place.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Brooklynn Holtman won the women's 600-yard run with a personal-best time of 1:23.82. Her time ranks fifth-fastest in UCM history.
- Ariel Kerr placed fifth in the men's 60m dash with a personal-best and provisional time of 21.66. That time ties for fifth-fastest in school history.
- Parker Wormek ran a provisional 8.04 to finish sixth in the men's 60m hurdles.
Throws
- Rachael Molloy placed fourth in the women's weight throw with a provisional throw of 18.09m (59-4). Her throw is ninth-best in NCAA-II this season.
Relays
The Mules and Jennies are scheduled to compete in the Washburn Open Feb. 2-3 in Topeka, Kan.
