SMITHFIELD, R.I. – University of Central Missouri Jennies bowling's Hannah Abbott, Madison Baxter, Cayla Bortz, Tiffany Hediger and Sydney Sahuri were named National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-Academic for their performances in the classroom during the 2022-23 academic year, the organization announced Wednesday, July 12.

A student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher for the academic school year to qualify for this award.

Abbott is a nursing major from Belton, Mo., Baxter is an entrepreneurship major from Council Bluffs, Iowa, Bortz is a disaster and crisis management major from Topeka, Kan., Hediger is an animal science major from Alhambra, Ill., and Sahuri is a disaster and crisis management major from Edwardsville, Ill.
