FIRST PITCH 
  • Jennies softball continues MIAA play as they begin their final homestand of the regular season against the Fort Hays State Tigers (Sunday, April 16) beginning at 1:00 p.m. and the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers (Monday, April 17) beginning at noon from Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg, Mo followed by a doubleheader on the road against the Rockhurst Hawks (Tuesday, April 18) beginning at 2:00 p.m. from Loyola Park Softball Field in Kansas City, Mo.  
  • UCM heads into play on Sunday afternoon following a doubleheader split of No. 4 Central Oklahoma Bronchos, winning game one by final score of 3-2 (9 inn.) and dropping game two by a final of 12-0 (5 inn.) on Saturday, April 8, from Gerry Pinkston Stadium in Edmond, Okla.

  • As a team, the Jens are hitting .302 with an OPS of .801 and 60 stolen bases while limiting their opponents to a .258 average. UCM has a team ERA of 3.06 and a fielding percentage of .967.  
 
SERIES HISTORY
  • Fort Hays State: Heading into Sunday afternoon, the Jennies lead the all-time series 28-16 dating back to the 1978 season including a 14-2 record in Warrensburg. Last season, the Tigers swept UCM in their doubleheader (Friday, April 15) in Hays, Kan.   
  • Nebraska-Kearney: Ahead of Monday's doubleheader, Central Missouri is 19-9 against the Lopers all-time with the first meeting being played in the 1983 season as the Jens maintain a 9-1 advantage when playing in Warrensburg. During last season's doubleheader, the Jens took game one 8-0 (5 inn.) before falling in game two 3-1 (Saturday, April 16) in Kearney, Neb.
  • Rockhurst: Coming into Tuesday's doubleheader in Kansas City, UCM holds a 10-3 overall record against the Hawks including 2-0 on the road. Last season, both teams split their doubleheader in Warrensburg (Tuesday, March 29) as Rockhurst won game one 7-5 while the Jennies won game two 13-9.
 
 UCM DURING the ANDERSON ERA
  • Susan Anderson enters her 17th season as head coach of the Jennies where she is the second winningest coach in program history with a record of 475-358 (.570).
  • Since her return to Warrensburg in 2006, Anderson has made 13 MIAA tournament appearances, five regional tournament appearances and one Elite Eight appearance.
  • The 2015 Regional Coach of the Year has been named MIAA Coach of the Year three times in her career (twice named as head coach of the Jens) while coaching 17 first team All-MIAA selections, eight All-Region selections, two All-Americans and one MIAA MVP.
