FIRST PITCH 
  • Central Missouri returns to the diamond on Saturday, March 4, for the opening day of the MIAA/GLVC Crossover as they take on the Missouri S&T Miners with first pitch scheduled for 10:00 a.m. followed by a matchup with the Truman State Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. from the Gene Bicknell Sports Complex in Pittsburg, Kan.   
  • The Jennies will conclude the MIAA/GLVC Crossover with a doubleheader on Sunday, March 5, against the Southwest Baptist Bearcats with game one's first pitch scheduled for 10:00 a.m. from Bicknell Sports Complex in Pittsburg, Kan.    
  • UCM heads into play on Saturday following a 3-1 loss against the St. Cloud State Huskies to conclude the Washburn Invite on Saturday, Feb. 25, from Gahnstrom Field in Topeka, Kan.
 
 
SERIES HISTORY
  • Missouri S&T: Heading into Saturday's matchup, the Jennies hold a 53-23 advantage dating back to the 1982 season with the last matchup being a 7-4 Jens loss (3/15/2019) in Warrensburg. 
  • Truman State: Central Missouri has an overall record of 61-47 against the Bulldogs, with the last meeting ending in a 3-1 UCM victory in extra-innings (2/27/2021) in the finale of the Washburn Invite.
  • Southwest Baptist: Ahead of Sunday's doubleheader with the Bearcats, Central Missouri holds an 85-22 record all-time dating back to the 1976 season. The Jennies have won four straight contests including a 9-1 (six inn.) victory (2/16/2020) in the final day of the Arkansas-Monticello Classic.

  • Susan Anderson enters her 17th season as head coach of the Jennies where she is the second winningest coach in program history with a record of 475-358 (.570).
  • Since her return to Warrensburg in 2006, Anderson has made 13 MIAA tournament appearances, five regional tournament appearances and one Elite Eight appearance.
  • The 2015 Regional Coach of the Year has been named MIAA Coach of the Year three times in her career (twice named as head coach of the Jens) while coaching 17 first team All-MIAA selections, eight All-Region selections, two All-Americans and one MIAA MVP.
