WARRENSBURG, Mo. – No. 13-ranked Central Missouri Mules baseball dropped the series finale of a four-game series to Arkansas Tech Sunday afternoon, Feb. 12, at Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field, 9-5.
The Mules (3-4) are scheduled to host Davenport in a three-game series Feb. 17-19 in Warrensburg.
Vance Tobol went 1-for-4 with his second homer of the season and drove in three runs while
Adamo Stornello was 2-for-4 with an RBI, and
Quinton Hall was 1-for-3 with his second home run of 2023 and an RBI, pacing UCM offensively.
Right-hander
Adam Gray (0-1) suffered the setback on the mound for Central Missouri after giving up six runs – five earned – on three hits with two strikeouts and one walk in 1 1/3 innings of relief.
Sawyer Duddleston was 1-for-4 with a three-run triple, and Keaton Ranallo homered, pacing the Wonder Boys (3-4) at the plate.
Arkansas Tech reliever Yuuki Takahashi (1-0) earned the victory on the rubber after allowing no earned runs on one hit in an inning of relief.
