MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Tenth-ranked Central Missouri Mules golf fired a final round 4-over par 288 to finish in 11th place out of 18 teams at the 24th Annual NSU Golf Classic Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Muskogee Golf Club.
The Mules tallied a three-round, team score of 20-over par 872 (289-295-288) during the two-day event.
Henderson State ran away with the team championship with a 54-hole team score of 15-under par 837 (289-268-280) while Washburn was second at 4-over par 856 (282-280-294) and Missouri Southern rounded out the top-three in third at 5-over par 857 (287-283-287).
Calvin Dillon posted a three-round 2-over par 215 (73-73-69) and finished tied for 17th, pacing UCM on the leaderboard.
Andrew Whittaker tied for 33rd with a 54-hole, 6-over par 219 (76-73-70),
Alex Gentry tied for 37th at 7-over par 220 (69-76-75),
Caleb Peters tied for 46th at 9-over par 222 (72-75-75) and
Robert Sager tied for 50th at 10-over par 223 (75-74-74), wrapping up the Central Missouri scoring.
Nick Fallin, who competed as an unattached individual, tied for 76th at 17-over par 230 (79-76-75).
Missouri Southern's Tradgon McCrae captured individual medalist honors, finishing atop the leaderboard at 13-under par 200 (64-66-70).
UCM is slated to return to action Oct. 10-11 at the Missouri Western Fall Invitational at the St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Mo.
