NORMAN, Okla. – Three Central Missouri Mules golfers have been named to the 2022 PING Division II All-Central Region Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Monday, May 16.

Matt Hoemann and
Thomas Henson were all selected to the 12-member Central Region team.
Westrich, a redshirt junior from Farmington, Mo., leads Central Missouri with a 72.59 scoring average over 32 rounds. He has six top-10 finishes and two top-five performances in 2021-22, including a season-best tied for third showing at the FHSU Tiger Invitational Oct. 18-19. He was an All-MIAA honoree this season.
A redshirt senior from Washington, Mo., Hoemann won the MIAA Men's Golf Individual Championship after posting a 54-hol, 3-under par 213 April 18-19 at WinterStone Golf Course in Independence, Mo. An All-MIAA honoree, Hoemann has a 73.03 scoring average through 32 rounds this season and has compiled three top-10 finishes, two top-five showings and one tournament win.
Henson, a redshirt sophomore who hails from Hermann, Mo., was named to the All-MIAA Men's Golf Team and is second on the team with a 72.64 scoring average over 31 rounds in 2021-22. He has posted three top-10 performances and one top-five finish. He finished a season-best tied for third at The Tulsa Cup Oct. 25-26.
The No. 11-ranked Mules are currently competing in the NCAA-II Men's Golf Championship in Detroit, Mich., at TPC of Michigan.
