KEARNEY, Neb. – Central Missouri Mules and Jennies track and field wrapped up its 2022 regular season scheduled with several notable performances at the Nebraska Kearney Loper Twilight Meet Saturday, May 14, at Kearney High School.
The Mules and Jennies will find out who qualifies for the 2022 NCAA-II Outdoor Track and Field Championships Tuesday, May 17.
Pole Vault
- Reagan Ulrich won the men's pole vault in style, posting the top mark in NCAA-II this season at 5.41m (17-09.00). His height is also a provisional mark and ranks second-best in school history. Jack Hodge finished second, posting a provisional height of 5.08m (16-08.00).
- Madi Wulfekotter and Cassie Jennings both had provisional height performances in the women's pole vault. Wulfekotter finished fourth with height of 4.05m (13-03.50) while Jennings was fifth at 4.00m (13-01.50).
Sprints/Hurdles
- Laia Gonzalez placed first in the women's 400m hurdles, clocking a provisional time of 1:01.53. Her time ranks in the top-30 in NCAA-II in 2022 and ninth-fastest in program history.
- Jathan Deberry ran a provisional and personal-best 14.26 (wind-aided) to win the men's 110m hurdles. His time is sixth-fastest in school history.
- Cameron Hesker ran a provisional and personal-best time of 10.52 to finish fifth in the men's 100m dash. His time is fifth-fastest in school history.
Throws
- Ashlan Burton won the women's shot put with a provisional throw of 15.92m (52-02.75).
- Rachael Molloy finished second in the women's hammer, posting a provisional mark of 57.34m (188-01.00). Her mark ranks 13th in NCAA-II this season and third best in program history.
- Addison Snowball compiled a provisional throw of 53.99m (177-01.00) to finish third in the men's discus.
- Michael Waldron placed third in the men's javelin with a provisional distance of 58.46m (191-09.00).
Jumps
- Camryn Holloman finished third in the women's long jump with a wind-aided, personal-best, provisional mark of 5.91m (19-04.75).
Relays
- The Jennies 4x400m relay team of Alex Foote', Laia Gonzalez, Jana Shawver and Lucy Steinmeyer posted a provisional time of 3:42.60 to finish first. That time is ninth-fastest in Division II this season.
- The Mules 4x400m relay squad of Trey Miller, Isaak Rasche, Antonio Lay and Michael James finished first, clocking a provisional time of 3:12.83. That time ranks in the top-30 in NCAA-II in 2022.
- The Mules 4x100m relay of James, Lay, Cameron Hesker and Miller finished first with a provisional time of 40.70, which is among the top-30 times in NCAA-II this season.
