VALLEY PARK, Mo. – Facing one of the toughest fields in NCAA women's bowling, Central Missouri Jennies bowling finished fifth in the Columbia 300 Saints Invitational hosted by Maryville University Feb. 5-6.
All five teams in the tournament were ranked in the top-24 of the December NTCA Coahces' Poll.
The Jennies posted a 2-6 record in the tournament, defeating No. 10-ranked and host Maryville twice, and falling twice to No. 22 Wisconsin-Whitewater, No. 2 McKendree and No. 3 Nebraska.
Individually for Central Missouri,
Brooke Law (13th at 186.20) and Andrea Perez Perez (15th at 176.20) both finished in the top-15 in total averages.
UCM is scheduled to compete in the Louisiana Tech Bulldog Classic Feb. 11-13 in Dallas, Texas.
