• Central Missouri Jennies basketball wraps up its 2021-22 regular season schedule with two MIAA road contests at Central Oklahoma and Lincoln Feb. 23 and 26. UCM is slated to face the Bronchos of Central Oklahoma Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 5:30 p.m. in Edmond, Okla., before facing the Lincoln Blue Tigers Saturday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m. in Jefferson City, Mo.
• The Jennies have already clinched a spot in the 2022 MIAA Women's Basketball Championship March 2-6 at historical Municipal Auditorium in downtown Kansas City, Mo.

• UCM enters the week at 17-10 overall and 13-7 in MIAA play after falling to ninth-ranked Fort Hays State Saturday, Feb. 19, in Warrensburg, 60-54.
• Through 27 games, the Jennies are led by redshirt freshman forward

Brooke Littrell leads the MIAA and is 16th in NCAA-II in free-throw percentage at .881 going into Wednesday's game at Central Oklahoma. She is 30 for her last 30 at the foul line and 55 of her last 56 at the charity stripe. She went a career-best 13-for-13 at Washburn Feb. 12.

Nija Collier is second in career blocks at Central Missouri with 144. She is 76 blocks away from tying former UCM standout Kendra Banzet for most career blocks. Banzet had 220 from 1991-95.
Last Time Out for the Jennies
• Central Missouri Jennies basketball outscored No. 9-ranked Fort Hays State 35-21 in the second half but came up short of completing a comeback, falling to the Tigers on Senior Day, 60-54, Saturday, Feb. 19, inside the Multipurpose Building.

Olivia Nelson paced Central Missouri with 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor and a 6-of-6 showing at the free-throw line and added five assists, while
Brooke Littrell netted 14 points and
Nija Collier tallied her team-best 16th double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
• The Jennies shot 37 percent from the field for the game, making 19 of 52 attempts, but were just 22 percent from three-point range at 4-for-18. UCM went a perfect 12-of-12 at the free-throw line.
• Central Missouri outrebounded Fort Hays State, 37-29, but committed 21 turnovers which led to 21 Tiger points. Both teams netted 30 points in the paint.
• Whitney Randall scored 19 points, leading Fort Hays State.
• The Tigers were 42 percent from the floor at 23-for-55, and 47 percent from beyond-the-arc, going 7-of-15.
Jennies in the Rankings
• The defending NCAA Division II Central Region Champion Jennies were picked to finish second this year in the MIAA preseason coaches' poll. UCM received three first-place votes in the poll.
• Central Missouri was voted to tie for first with Fort Hays State in the MIAA preseason media poll. The Jennies tallied 118 points and five first-place votes in the poll.
• UCM is 10th in the most recent NCAA-II Central Region rankings released Feb. 13. The top eight teams in the final rankings advance to the NCAA-II Central Region tournament.
