PITTSBURG, Kan. – Central Missouri Mules and Jennies track and Field posted seven NCAA-II provisional qualifying marks on the opening day of the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic Friday, Feb. 11, inside the Robert W. Plaster Center.
UCM will wrap up the Gorilla Classic Saturday, Feb. 12.
Throws
- Rachael Molloy won the women's weight throw with a provisional throw of 17.92m (58-09.50) while Ashlan Burton finished second with a provisional mark of 17.56m (57-07.50). Molloy's throw tied for third-best in program history and is 18th-best in Division II this season while Burton's was the sixth-best all-time.
- Addison Snowball launched a provisional throw of 18.05m (59-02.75) and finished sixth in the men's weight throw.
Jumps
- Camryn Holloman posted a provisional mark of 5.76m (18-10.75) and finished eighth in the long jump. Her mark is seventh in school history.
- Christopher Goodwin and Trey Miller went 2-3 in the men's long jump. Both tallied provisional marks with Goodwin finishing second at 7.41m (24-03.75) and Miller placing third at 7.29m (23-11.00). Goodwin's distance is seventh-best in program history and 10th-best in NCAA-II while Miller's is tied for 10th all-time.
Sprints
- Antonio Lay clocked a provisional time of 21.39 to finish sixth in the 200m dash. That's the second-fastest time in program history and is tied for ninth-fastest in NCAA-II this season.
