No. 20 Mules Golf in Seventh After Day One of The Tulsa Cup

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- The No. 20 Central Missouri Mules golf team sits in seventh place after round one of the Tulsa Cup on a soggy Monday, Oct. 24, at The Club at Indiana Springs.

The team combined for an 18 hole score of 16-over par (304). Henderson State is currently leading the tournament with a score of 291, 3-over par. Southern Arkansas is in second, just one stroke behind Henderson State after shooting 292, 4-over par. Southwestern Oklahoma State closes out the top three teams at 8-over par, 296. 

Redshirt sophomore Alex Gentry leads the Mules after day one. Gentry shot an impressive 2-under par (70). He is currently tied for third overall. 

Redshirt sophomore Calvin Dillon follows Gentry in second place for the Mules. Dillon is currently tied for 23rd, shooting 76 (4-over par). 

Freshman Andrew Whittaker and junior Robert Sager both finished the day at 7-over par (79). They are currently tied for 50th.

Redshirt junior Caden Ellis rounds out the Mules' scores for the day. Ellis is currently tied for 60th after shooting 8-over par (80).

The Mules will finish out the 36-hole tournament Tuesday, Oct. 25.
