WARRENSBURG, Mo. (March 2, 2021) - It's MIAA Tournament time! The No. 2 seed Jennies are playing host in an MIAA quarterfinal round, looking to defend their conference championships from a year ago.

Fan Information:
• The UCM Multipurpose Building is limited to 25% capacity.
• Face masks are required at all times while on the UCM campus.Â
• Fans are strongly encouraged to socially distance themselves when seated and only sit with the group they entered the facility with.
• Restrooms and east-end concessions will be open, but fans are asked not to congregate in hallways or the lobby.Â
• There will be no reserved seating for visiting fans behind the visiting bench.Â
Ticket Information
• Adult ticket prices will mirror what was done during the regular season. Premium GA with seat backs will cost $15, GA bleacher seating costs $10. It is recommended that adult tickets are purchased online.Â
• All UCM students will receive free admission to the game with a valid UCM student-ID. Student tickets must be purchased in person and can be done so all week at the UCM Ticket Office, Room 101 in the Multipurpose Building. They can also be purchased the day of the game at the gate, starting one hour prior to tip-off at 5 p.m.

• Central Missouri is back in the MIAA Tournemant looking to defend their tournament championship that they won a year ago.Â
• Should UCM win and FHSU lose, the Jennies would host the MIAA Tournament semifinal and final rounds at the UCM Multipurpose Building.Â
Storylines
• Central Missouri and Washburn have met each year since 1990. In their 66 meetings, Washburn holds a 40-26 lead. The Jennies have won 10 of the last 11 and 13 of the last 14.Â
• The Jennies current six-game winning streak over Washburn is the longest in team history.Â
• The last time Washburn won in Warrensburg was back in 2016. The Jennies have won three straight since then, scoring 80 or more in the last two home games vs. Washburn.Â
Last Time Out
• The Jennies finished the regular season in grand fashion. They blew out the Lincoln Blue Tigers 79-45.

• The Jennies struggled holding on to the ball, turning it over 24 times. They were able to overcome that in a 62-56 win at the Multi.

Jennies in the Rankings
• Central Missouri is ranked 15th in the WBC, same spot as last week. In the D2CCA poll, the Jennies have moved up to a season-best 13th in the poll.Â
• The defending MIAA Champion Jennies were picked to finish third this year by the league's coaches. They did receive three first-place votes.Â
• The first NCAA regional rankings aren't official rankings. They are alphabetically listing teams "in consideration" for a regional bid. The Jennies have been "in consideration" for the first two weeks. An official set of rankings will come out the day of the MIAA quarterfinals.Â

• The third quarter is where UCM is scoring the most, averaging 19.5 points in the period.
UCM in the MIAA Tournament
• In 38 appearances, the Jennies are 45-28 in the MIAA Tournament. They are 19-10 in quarterfinal round games and have made 16 championship appearances and are 16-11 in MIAA semifinal round games.Â
• UCM has won eight MIAA Tournament Championships after winning the 2020 title last season in Kansas City.
Scouting the Opposition
Washburn Ichabods (11-11, 11-11 MIAA)
• Washburn finished the regular season winning four of their last five games to secure a spot in the MIAA Tournament with an 11-11 record.Â
• They ended the season with a win at home against an Emporia State team that sits fourth in the conference.Â
• Washburn's offense is at the bottom of the league, scoring just 59.9 points per game, 12th in the MIAA. They are however second allowing 57.6 points per game. Teams are also shooting juts 38.6% against the Ichabods which is sixth in the league.Â
• The Ichabods are led by Hunter Bentley who's ninth in the league in scoring at 15.5 points per game. She's been their most consistent offensive threat hitting double-digit points in all but three games this season. One of those two games was against the Jennies when she scored just six points.Â
• Washburn has done a good job on the glass and is fourth in the MIAA in rebounding margin at +4.4. They average 11.2 offensive rebounds per game which is sixth in the league.
• The Ichabods have struggled from behind the arc shooting at 28.6%. Their 116 made threes are the fourth lowest in the MIAA.
• Washburn is losing the ball more than nearly 15 times per game. They have a -0.14 turnover margin which is right in the middle of the league.Â
