• Central Missouri Jennies basketball is scheduled to continue MIAA play with a road contest at No. 20 Missouri Western Saturday, Dec. 11, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Joseph, Mo., at the MWSU Fieldhouse before returning home to the Multipurpose Building for a 5:30 p.m. showdown against Northwest Missouri Monday, Dec. 13.

• The Jennies are 5-3 overall and 1-0 in the MIAA after rolling to a 71-46 win over Lincoln Dec. 5 in their MIAA opener.

Jennies in the Rankings
• The defending NCAA Division II Central Region Champion Jennies were picked to finish second this year in the MIAA preseason coaches' poll. UCM received three first-place votes in the poll.
• Central Missouri was voted to tie for first with Fort Hays State in the MIAA preseason media poll. The Jennies tallied 118 points and five first-place votes in the poll.
• The Jennies are receiving votes in the most recent WBCA Division II Coaches' Poll released Dec. 7. UCM is right outside the top-25, receiving 51 votes for 26th.
Individual Milestones

Nija Collier is third in career blocks at UCM with 113 through eight games this season. She needs 13 blocks to move up to second in program history.

Nija Collier scored a career-high 31 points and
Kade Hackerott added a career-best 13 points, helping No. 25-ranked Central Missouri Jennies basketball to a 71-46 victory over the Lincoln Blue Tigers in the MIAA opener for both teams Sunday, Dec. 5, inside the Multipurpose Building.
• Collier went 14-for-18 from the floor, including a 2-for-2 performance from three-point range, and added a free-throw for her career-high 31 points in the contest while Hackerott scored her career-best 13 points on 50 percent shooting from the field (6-for-12) and a 1-of-2 showing at the foul line.
• Collier added a game-high 11 rebounds to secure her team-best sixth double-double of the season.
Olivia Nelson netted 13 points and dished out a career-high eight assists.
• For the game, Central Missouri went 29-of-54 from the field for 54 percent and 4-of-13 from beyond-the-arc for 31 percent. The Jennies made nine of 13 free throws for 69 percent.
• UCM dominated Lincoln in the paint, outscoring the Blue Tigers, 50-24. The Jennies outrebounded Lincoln, 30-27, and forced 21 Blue Tiger turnovers which led to 18 Central Missouri points. The Jennies also had 16 assists and 10 steals in the game.
