INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The NCAA released the first set of the 2021 Division II women's soccer regional rankings on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 27, and the No. 17 Jennies are at the top of the Central Region rankings.

With two regular season matches remaining, the 13-2-1 Jennies rank number one in the first set of rankings. Emporia State is second in the region with a record of 14-1-1, followed by Bemidji State at 12-0-2.

Minnesota State is fourth with record of 12-2-1, while Central Oklahoma is fifth at 11-4-1 and Northwest Missouri is sixth at 10-5-1. Oklahoma Baptist (9-4-1), Augustana (10-3-2), Northern State (7-3-3) and SWOSU (8-5-1) round out the first rankings. 

The top eight teams in the final regional rankings will qualify for the NCAA Division II women's soccer tournament.

The Jennies are scheduled to host Missouri Southern Friday, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. before entertaining Missouri Western for Senior Day and their regular season finale Sunday, Oct. 31, at 1 p.m. Both contests will be at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg.
