RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – University of Central Missouri Jennies Soccer student-athletes
Mikayla Ernst and
Mackenzie Smith were both voted to the 2025 Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region Women's Soccer Teams, it was announced Tuesday, Nov. 25.
Ernst was a First Team Forward selection while Smith garnered Second Team Defender recognition.
A junior out of Raymore, Mo., Ernst led the Jennies and the MIAA in goals scored (12) and points (30) in her 21 matches in 2025. She added a team-best five game-winning goals and was 2-for-3 in penalty-kick attempts on the season. Ernst was First Team All-MIAA selection. This is Ernst's first All-Region accolade.
Smith, a sophomore from Kansas City, Mo., was selected as All-Region for the first time in her Central Missouri career after helping the UCM defense post 12 shutouts in its 21 contests this season. She played the most minutes among position players, tallying 1,785 minutes on the pitch, trailing only goalkeeper
Kristen Wright, and scored one goal for two points in 2025. Smith was named a First Team All-MIAA honoree earlier this season.
Ernst and Smith are the 61st and 62nd UCM women's soccer student-athletes to earn All-Region honors under 18th season head coach

The Jennies posted an overall record of 11-6-4 in 2025. UCM advanced to the NCAA-II tournament for the 15th consecutive season and 18th time in program history, falling to No. 3-seed St. Cloud State in the second round in overtime Nov. 23, 2-1.
