KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Jennies Soccer student-athletes
Mikayla Ernst and
Aspen Patterson were both voted to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches Division II All-Central Region Teams, it was announced Tuesday, Dec. 9.
Ernst was a First Team Forward selection while Patterson garnered Second Team Midfielder recognition.
A junior out of Raymore, Mo., Ernst led the Jennies and the MIAA in goals scored (12) and points (30) in her 21 matches in 2025. She added a team-best five game-winning goals and was 2-for-3 in penalty-kick attempts on the season. Ernst was First Team All-MIAA and D2CCA All-Central Region selection.
Patterson, a junior from Lenexa, Kan., was selected as All-Region for the first time in her Central Missouri career after tallying two goals, five assists, and nine points in her 21 contests this season. In addition, Patterson compiled the second-most minutes among position players during the season, playing 1,733 minutes. She was named a Second Team All-MIAA Midfielder and earned MIAA Women's Soccer Championship All-Tournament Team honors.
The Jennies posted an overall record of 11-6-4 in 2025. UCM advanced to the NCAA-II tournament for the 15th consecutive season and 18th time in program history, falling to No. 3-seed St. Cloud State in the second round in overtime Nov. 23, 2-1.
