Mat Notes:
• After a 20-day break from competing, Central Missouri Wrestling returns to action on Saturday in a dual against Lindenwood.
• Lindenwood is ranked 16th in the latest NWCA Division II Top-25 Rankings. The Lions are currently 2-0 with dual victories over Ouachita Baptist and Emmanuel.
• Feeney leads the Mules with a 10-7 record to start the season. Hampton posts a season records of 9-8, while Mules Kuntz is 8-8.
• This is Central Missouri's second dual of the 2019-20 season. The Mules have also competed in four tournaments. Feeney earned a 3rd-place finish at UNK's Younes Hospitality Open and a 5th-place finish at the Buena Vista Open. Hampton has also placed in two tournaments, earning 5th-place finished at the Grand View and Buena Vista Opens.
Mules Feed:
• Feeney was UCM's only national qualifier last season at 133 pounds. Feeney took second in the 2019 NCAA Super Regional as the Mules earned a seventh place team finish.
• During the 2018-19 season, UCM had eight place-winners in regular season tournaments and went 2-7 in dual matches.
• Last season academically, the Mules were in the top-20 nationally in the NWCA Academic Poll and two student-athletes,
Allan Person and Hampton earned MIAA Academic Excellence Awards.
