Biography

As a redshirt Junior: Person went 18-13 overall in his third season, with a dual record of 8-3. His top finish was at the Luther Hill Invite, where he placed fourth at 174 pounds. He was apart of the Academic All-District Team for the At-Large Division for his 3.96 GPA. Person also received NWCA All-Academic honors for his dedication in the classroom.

As a redshirt Sophomore: Person saw limited action in 2016-17 due to injury, going 6-8 overall with a 3-4 dual record. Five of his six wins came by way of decision. He was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.

As a redshirt Freshman: Person finished with an overall record of 17-19, with a dual record of 3-8. Person competed for the Mules at the MIAA Championships and Regionals, placing fourth and sixth, respectively at 165 lbs.

Person redshirted the 2014-15 season but competed unattached at opens. He compiled a 5-7 record and recorded one major decision.

In high school: Person is a two time letterwinner, and qualified for state once. He was awarded All-Conference First Team honors, and also earned awards for academic achievements. Person is an honor roll student, and graduated magna cum laude. 

Personal: Majoring in mechanical engineering and technology ... Son of Allan and Sharon Person.
