FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. ( April 12, 2019) - Central Missouri Track and Field wrapped up day two at the John McDonnell Invitational.
For the Mules,
Garrett Francis led finishing third with 6218-points. Francis ran a personal best in the 100mH (15.89), pole vault (13-11.5), discus throw (99-9), and the 1500m run (5:03.63).
Trent Davis was next up with 6102-points for fourth place and
Calaway Scholes placed fifth with 6025-points.
Lauren Nelson and
Kyra Webster competed in the Heptathlon.
Lauren Nelson was the top finisher placing second with 4272-points. Nelson recorded personal best in the long jump(16-9.75) and in the 800m run (2:33.15).
Kyra Webster was right behind her with 4150-points, for third place.
In the pole vault,
Vincent Hobbie and
Jan Jansky competed and unfortunately no heightened.
Up Next:
UCM Track and Field will compete tomorrow at the John McDonnell Invitational. The field events are set to begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Hammer Throw being the first event. The first track, on the other hand, will be the 3000m steeplechase beginning at 2:00 p.m. Live results for the event will be available courtesy of MidwestTiming.
