The Jennies jumped on top of Minnesota State for a 10-1 win in game one. They scored three in the first inning of game two, but couldn't hold on in a 6-4 loss to Concordia-St. Paul.

Game 1 - Central Missouri 10, Minnesota State 1
Play-by-Play

• The Jennies scored two runs in each of the first two innings. Lauryn Deer started the game with a four-pitch walk and stole second. She scored the game's first run as Hailey Crabtree bunted her over and a wild throw from the pitcher went behind the first base bag.
• The Jennies made it 2-0 as Taylor Dames went opposite field for a two-out single to right driving in Crabtree.
• An inning later, the Jennies loaded the bases with one out. Crabtree saw four straight balls to walk in a run and Mckenzie McAtee singled home Deer.
• Deer and Crabtree were again in the middle of the action in the fourth inning. Deer led off the inning with an infield single and stole second. Crabtree pulled a single through the right side of the infield as Deer crossed the plate making it 5-0.
• McAtee picked up another RBI with a double to left center as Ashlyn Cook scored in the sixth. The Mavericks got their only run on the board in the bottom of the inning, leading off the frame with back-to-back doubles.
• UCM put the nail in the coffin with four in the seventh. Sader and Dames each had RBI singles and just like the first run of the game, the Jennies scored their last on a throwing error.
