• Last year the Jennies were 18-1 in the MIAA regular season as they captured their 11th regular season conference championship.

Quick Hits
Last Time Out

• The last week was an eventful one for UCM. They had their home opener and unveiled their 2017-18 National Championship banner in front of 2500 fans at the Multipurpose Building in an 86-74 win over Westminster. The Jens lost their first game of the year, 101-97 in double OT on the road at St. Mary's. UCM then concluded with a win in their Elite Eight rematch, 67-62 over Lubbock Christian.

Previously vs. Southwest Baptist
• These teams met last year in Bolivar with the Jennies coming out on top 80-75 in a high scoring game that saw UCM put the Bearcats away late with an 18-12 fourth quarter. Morgan Fleming scored 21 and Kayonna Lee had a double-double with 16 and 10.

Jennies in the Rankings
• In the second regular season weekly polls, the Jennies fell to number seven in both the WBCA and D2SIDA rankings following their 2-1 week.
• The Jens were also picked first in the MIAA preseason coaches poll, following their 18-1 regular season champonship last season.

The MIAA Universe (As of Nov. 27, 2018)
• Not one, not two, but three Jennies rank in the MIAA top-five in scoring. Paige Redmond and Morgan Fleming are one point apart averaging 16.3 and 16.2 points per game. Megan Skaggs is right behind with 15.7 points per game. The group is third, fourth and fifth in the league.
• Those three are also in the MIAA top-12 in field goal percentage with Skaggs' 58.9% leading the way in fifth place.
• Redmond is second in three-point percentage hitting 43.6% behind the arc and third making 88.2% at the line.
• No team in the league has sank more three than the Jennies 59 which is seventh in the NCAA.

Individual Milestones
Paige Redmond joined the 1,000 point club last season scoring the milestone bucket against Pittsburg State. She is currently at 1,319 which is 16th all-time and 18 away to crack the top-15 and less than 100 away from the top-10. Redmond is also climbing the all-time 3FGM list. She has 162 for her career which is sixth all-time and needs seven more to crack the top-five. Her 68 3-pointers last season were tied or the sixth most in a single season.
Sydney Crockett is also moving up the all-time three-point list and is currently ninth with 107 and 21 away from eighth place. She also needs 25 points for 600, 15 rebounds for 200 and three more games for 100.
Emilie Jobst needs two more points for 50 in her career and her 18 this season is tied for her single-season high.
Megan Skaggs needs 14 points to reach 800 and three field goals for 300.
Peyton Taylor's next FGM made will be the 50th of her career.

10 Below
• For the last three seasons the Jennies have made a habit of holding teams to fewer than 10 points in at least one quarter. It's happened in 39 games dating back to the 2016-17 season and in those games, UCM is 37-2. The Jens were 15-1 when doing so in 2016-17 and 18-1 last year including four of the six NCAA postseason games. The Jens are at it again this year. In four of their six games, they've held their opponent to single-digits in one quarter of play.

Start Your Engines
• Overall through six games, the Jennies have shown an ability to start strong, outscoring opponents 99-81 in the first quarter and then really putting the hammer down in the second, 100-61. The Jens though are being outscored in the second-half of games 222-217.

Who's Hot?
• There isn't anyone hotter right now than Morgan Fleming, the reigning MIAA Player of the Week. Fleming went off for a career-best 33 points against St. Mary's as she averaged 20.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for three games last week. She was also a rebound shy of a double-double against Westminster.
Megan Skaggs has been on fire from three, shooting 6-10 in the last two games. She leads UCM hitting 58.9% from the floor this season and is up to 42.9% from three.

Double Overtime Rewind
• The Jennies double overtime loss to St. Mary's was UCM's first 2OT game since a 2011 win over Midwestern State.
• The 198 combined points between the Jennies and the Rattlers are the second-most in team history. UCM and Northwest Missouri played to 214 points in another 2OT game on January 25, 1984 in the Jens first National Championship sesason.
• The two teams combined for 66 OT points in 10 minutes, more than the combined points in the 1st half and four fewer than the 2nd.
