Mules Wrestling Wraps up Regular Season at Fort Hays State

WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Mules Wrestling team will wrestle in their final dual of the 2015-16 season when they face Fort Hays State Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Hays, Kansas.

• The Mules will look to end the regular season on a high-note by snapping a five-dual losing streak when they travel to Hays, Kansas for their regular season finale against Fort Hays State.
• The Tigers enter on a three-dual losing streak, all against top-10 teams, after winning five straight.
Archie Williams earned his 50th career win with the Mules when he won an 11-6 decision over Dylan Harmon in the dual against Central Oklahoma.
• Central Missouri has won their final regular season dual three times in the past six seasons.
Robert Schneider's victory in the dual against Central Oklahoma gave him his 13th win of the season, and 25th of his career, topping his win total from his freshman year, which was 12. Schneider has nine pins this year, tying his total from his freshman year. 
Nick Lovejoy's 14 wins this season are a career high for him as well.
• Fort Hays State has one wrestler ranked in the top eight in the nation with Jon Inman currently sitting at No. 6 at 184 pounds. 
•The Tigers have five wrestlers ranked in Super Region IV with Noah Killip ranked No. 6 at 141, Brady Little No. 5 at 149, Joey Dozier No. 6 at 157, Jon Inman No. 2 at 184 and Cash Drylie No. 4 at 197.
• Williams has won six matches in a row, and nine of his last 10 overall. Over this span Williams has recorded two major decisions, one tech fall, one pin and six decisions. William's longest win streak at UCM is eight, which spanned three tournaments and a dual last season.
• Williams leads the team in wins (22), winning percentage (.759) and team points scored (52.5), and is second in tech falls (3) and major decisions (2).

Series History
Central Missouri vs. Fort Hays State: 24-27-1
The Mules' last win against the Tigers came during the 2008-09 season when Central Missouri downed Fort Hays State 18-15. Fort Hays State has won the last six meetings, which is the longest winning streak for either team since UCM won four straight from 1988-1992. The Tigers have won nine of the last 10 duals dating back to the 2005-06 season.
