Devin Cornelius leads with 2875 points. Sophomore
Elias Roelfsema is fourth with 2391 points.
Cornelius is competing in his first meet with UCM after transferring from St. John Fisher in Rochester, N.Y. He won three of day one's four events outright and tied for the lead in the fourth. Cornelius ran 7.17 in the 60m dash,, jumped 21-9 in the long jump, 6-3.5 in the high jump and threw 38-8.75 in the shot put.
Roelfsema's high finish was third in the shot put, throwing 37-3.25. He ran 7.85 in the 60m dash and jumped 18-11.75 in the long and 6-1.25 in the high jump.
The two Mules finish the meet tomorrow afternoon starting at 11 a.m. A handful of Jennies will also see action as the pentathlon starts at 10 a.m.
