The wins moved Central Missouri to 3-1 this season, all against nonconference opponents. Last season, the Jennies had just one win outside of MIAA competition.

Previously vs. Embry Riddle, Barry, Johnson & Wales
The Jennies have never met Embry Riddle or Johnson and Wales but have squared off three time against Barry. The last time UCM faced Barry was in 2009, a loss to the Buccaneers, 66-49 at the Cruzin' Classic in Fort Lauderdale.

Jennies on the Road
The Jennies have yet to play a true road game this season. Their first will come against Embry-Riddle Tuesday and again against Barry Friday. Last season, Central Missouri went 5-9 in road games.

Jennies at Neutral Sites
So far this season Central Missouri is 2-0 at neutral sites with wins last weekend against Arkansas-Fort Smith and Ferris State. This week, their only match at a neutral site is against Johnson and Wales. In 2015-16, the Jennies were 0-3 at neutral sites, including a loss in the MIAA quarterfinals in Kansas City.

Conference Leaders
Though only through a handful of games, Central Missouri is third in the MIAA in scoring average, putting up 82.5 points per game. Part of the reason for that is that they are shooting 84.5% at the free throw line, best in the MIAA. They lead the No. 2 team in the MIAA, Northeastern State, by almost four percent.

Individually, the Jennies have four players averaging more than 10 points per game with Paige Redmond's 18.3 PPG leading the way, ranking fourth in the conference. Redmond is also third in the conference with the most free throws made without a miss at eight. Ashley Duffy and Morgan Fleming are scoring more than 11 points per game and Kayonna Lee is scoring 10.3 points per game.

Redmond is also in the top-10 when it comes to shooting percentage. She ranks seventh shooting .478 from the floor this season and is sixth at the free-throw line making 90.9% of her attempts.

Also shooting the ball well this season have been Duffy from beyond the arc and Lee at the free throw line. Duffy is connecting on 50% of her three-point attempts (10-20), fifth in the MIAA and Lee has made 25 of 28 free throw attempts and her 89.3% is eighth in the conference.

Lee is also in the MIAA top-10 when it comes to rebounding. She's grabbing 8.5 boards per game to lead UCM and is fifth in the MIAA.

Halftime Adjustments
Just like last season, through four games, Central Missouri's best scoring period has been the third. They've scored 94 points in the third through four games, their most in any frame. A year ago, UCM scored 554 third period points, their most in any period by 61 points. That trend continued against Arkansas-Fort Smith as UCM scored 27 after the break.

Career-Highs
Early in the season, two Jennies have been prolific in setting in new career-highs. Paige Redmond has topped her career-best in points each of the last three games. She scored 18 against Minot State, bettered that with 19 against Arkansas-Fort Smith before exploding for 30 against Ferris State. Sydney Crockett also set a career-best in points with 21 against Minot State and last weekened grabbed a career-best eight rebounds against Arkansas-Fort Smith.

Ball Protection
In all four games this season, the Jennies have been on the plus-side of the turnover battle. The Jennies are averaging just 12 turnovers per game while forcing opponents in more than 20 per game. Through four games, the Jennies are plus-35 in the turnover department.
