Jakki Prater established the UCM program's new single-season homerun record, slamming her 17th homerun of the season as the Jennies split a doubleheader at Lindenwood, losing 2-0 and winning 8-0 in six innings. 
In game one, Lindenwood got all the runs they would need, scoring twice in the bottom of the third courtesy of a two-run triple by Madeline Bohr.
UCM (23-15, 11-7 MIAA) had an opportunity to tie the game in the top of the fourth, getting the first two hitters on second and third with no outs, but could not bring them home.
Prater (14-8) was tagged with the loss, tossing six innings, allowing 11 hits on two runs. The Jennies were held to just four hits. 
In game two, the Jennies jumped on the board early, scoring three times in the top of the first. 
Lindsey Dawson sent the first run home with an RBI single. Prater capped off the scoring with a homerun to left field to give UCM a 3-0 lead. 
Alex Groeger gave the Jennies a 4-0 lead on an RBI groundout in the top of the second.
A four-run sixth inning secured the mercy-rule win for the Jennies. With a pair of runners on the basepaths, 
Emily King stroked a two-run double to make it a 6-0 ballgame. 
Braylyn Bivens recorded her second homerun of the season two batters later, giving UCM an 8-0 lead.
Game two starter 
Katie Shockley (8-2) collected her first shutout of the season and sixth complete game, allowing just four hits and fanning one. 
BIvens and Dawson both tallied two hits in game two.
The Jennies will travel to Southwest Bapitst  next Friday, April 11 for a 2 p.m. doubleheader.
