WARRENSBURG, Mo. – No. 21 Central Missouri swept Southwest Baptist 25-15, 25-10, 25-19, on Friday night. The Jennies hit .451 as a team with four players hitting over .400 individually in the match.

The score was tied through the first 16 points of the match. The Jennies went on to score two sets of four points, while allowing Southwest Baptist to earn only one point in between. Central Missouri scored two in a row to win the first set of the match. In the second, the Jennies earned six in a row to start the set. They held Southwest Baptist at six, while extending their lead to 12 points, at 18-6. Southwest Baptist earned their tenth point, just before the Jennies finished the set.
Shelby Winkelmann came out as the libero in the third, giving
Annie Reilly an opportunity to play front row. Southwest Baptist was able to keep the set close, but the Jennies still finished with a six point lead.

Haley Thompson had a team-high 13 kills, and hit .591 in the match.
Carly Sojka had 10 kills, and hit .474, while
Kourtney Thompson and
Maddie Jones had six kills each. K. Thompson also had 31 assists and 10 digs.
Lauren Dudgeon and Reilly had four kills each. Reilly had 13 kills in the match, while Winkelmann had 10.
The Jennies will take on Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Kan. tomorrow at 3 p.m. Â
