The week ahead...
The No. 9 Jennies (11-0-1, 8-0-0 MIAA) extended their winning streak to nine games with two victories last week. The nine-game streak is the program's longest since the 2011 season (17).
Central Missouri embarks on a four-game road trip starting this Friday night at Central Oklahoma at 4 p.m. The Bronchos have tied two of their past three matches and have not lost since Sept. 21. The Jennies will end the weekend with a 1 p.m. match on Sunday afternoon at Northeastern State. The RiverHawks will play host to Lindenwood on Friday night before hosting UCM on Sunday afternoon.
Both of UCM's opponents this week have struggled recently when it comes to scoring. The Bronchos have scored just one goal in their past three matches, two ending in 0-0 ties. The RiverHawks have dropped three of their past four matches, and have been held without a goal in two of those games.

Series History...
Central Oklahoma: The Jennies are 3-3-2 all-time against the Bronchos and are 1-2-1 in Edmond. Last season, the Jennies were 1-1 against UCO, winning the regular season match, 3-0 and falling in the MIAA Tournament, 3-1. Two of the past four meetings have resulted in 0-0 ties.

Northeastern State: Central Missouri leads the all-time series, 5-1-1. Last season, the Jennies won the lone match in Warrensburg, 3-1. The Jennies have won the past three matches and have not lost since 1998 season.

The Coaches...
Mike Cook (Central Oklahoma): Mike Cook has been with the Central Oklahoma soccer program since its inception and has built the Bronchos into a perennial NCAA Division II power.
Cook came to UCO when the school started the program in 1998 and has guided the Bronchos to an amazing 239-85-21 record over the past 16 years.  He has a 20-year women's record of 327-107-22, ranking among the Division II coaching leaders in all-time wins and winning percentage (.723).
Cook has led UCO to nine national playoff appearances, with the Bronchos winning six regular-season titles and five tournament crowns during their tenure in the Lone Star Conference.  Cook earned LSC Coach of the Year accolades six times and was named Midwest Regional Coach of the Year twice.
He's coached 47 All-Region players and six All-Americans during his tenure and UCO has had 82 all-conference players during Cook's tenure.

Chase Wooten (Northeastern State): Chase Wooten is currently in his fifth season as head coach of the Northeastern State women's soccer program. He was named to the position in January 2010 and is the third person to serve in this capacity since the sport was added in 1996. He entered the 2014 campaign with a career record of 46-19-9, and his .682 winning percentage is the best in school history.
Wooten has taken the program to new heights since arriving at NSU. He has led the RiverHawks to the four best defensive seasons in school history, including a 2013 team that conceded a program-best 14 goals. The 2010 team allowed just 17 goals, while the other two top defensive units in school history were also under Wooten's watch (2011-12). Wooten has guided Northeastern State to winning seasons in each of his first four years with the program.
The 2013 team broke the school record for most wins (15) and best win percentage (.789) in a single season, while tying the all-time mark for fewest losses in a single campaign (4). The squad boasted four first-team all-region performers and the MIAA Goalkeeper of the Year in Jordan Woodruff. NSU finished runners-up in the MIAA at 8-3 in the conference, which was the best league placement in school history.

Scouting the week's competition...
Central Oklahoma: The Bronchos' offense is paced by senior forward Emily Hahn and junior forward Gabi Bochus who have four goals apiece this season. Two of Bochus' goals have been game-winners for UCO. Junior midfielder Emily Precure is the team's leader in assists with four.
On the defensive side, the Bronchos are playing strong, led by sophomore Ashley McDaniel and junior Quinn Tookey. UCO has shut out its opponents in the past six matches. Southwest Baptist was the last team to score against UCO on Sept. 21. Their four goals allowed this season is tied for lowest in the MIAA (UCM, FHSU, MWSU).
The Bronchos employ a timeshare at goalkeeper, as senior Brandi Bartley (five starts) and freshman Elle Stover (six starts) have combined for an 8-2-1 record. They both own two combined shutouts apiece and have totaled six this season.

Northeastern State: The RiverHawks play at Lindenwood on Friday before hosting the Jennies Sunday afternoon. Their record currently stands at 6-6.
On offense, freshman forward Melissa Giles leads with nine points (four goals, assist), while taking a team-high 24 shot attempts. Sophomore forward Anastasia Robinson is the only NSU player with multiple assists (2).
Defensively, NSU is led by sophmores Rachel Gleason and Lauren Wagner and junior Emily Burch. The defense has yielded 12 goals this season.
Between the pipes is sophomore goalkeeper Jordan Woodruff. The Long Island, New York native has started all 12 matches, allowing 12 goals for a 0.99 GAA. Her 59 saves are sixth-most in the MIAA, while her four shutouts rank fifth in the conference.

Head Coach Lewis Theobald
Six-time MIAA Coach of the Year, Lewis Theobald is in his eighth season as head coach at Central Missouri with a stunning 120-22-16 record, becoming the all-time winningest coach in Jennies soccer history during the 2012 season. He earned his 100th victory as head coach of the UCM program on September 27, 2013 at Washburn. He entered the 2014 season as the sixth-winningest active head coach in Division II women's soccer with a .798 winning percentage. He recorded more wins in his first three seasons than any other coach in school history.
He was the first assistant at Division I Indiana State, where he was the lead recruiter before coming to UCM.
He is a 1999 graduate of the University of Kansas.

Modiri Named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week...
Jennies freshman forward Mikala Modri earned MIAA Offensive Player of the Week honors on Tuesday. She is the third Jennie in as many weeks to win the award, joining Alex Yockey and Taylor Thompson

Climbing the Polls...
In this week's batch of rankings, the Jennies moved up a spot to No. 9 in the NSCAA Coaches Poll. The No. 9 spot is the team's highest ranking since Sept. 11, 2012 when they were ranked eighth. The Jennies began the 2014 season unranked.

Another Shutout for Dilkes...
Freshman goalkeeper Ana Dilkes picked up her seventh shutout of the season last week against the Bearcats. The Wichita, Kansas native has 11 wins this season, six shy of Brook Cooley's freshman record of 17 wins in 2010. That season, Cooley made 30 saves, compared to Dilkes' 37 through 12 matches in 2014. She made a season-high 10 saves in the Jennies 2-0 win against Southwest Baptist last Sunday. Dilkes is the first UCM goalkeeper to save at least 10 shots in a match since Liz Casey back in 2007 (11).

Pyle-ing Up the Assists...
Sophomore forward Hannah Pyle currently owns seven assists this season. Entering the week, Pyle is four assists away from setting the Jennies' single-season record, which would pass Teleshia Joseph (2002) Kayla Shain (2011) and Carly Stanley (2013), who each recorded 10 in their respective seasons.

Looking to Stay Unbeaten on the Road...
The Jennies begin this four-game road swing with a 4-0-1 record away from Warrensburg. Should they either win or tie the last four road matches, they would go down as just the second team in program history to not lose on the road. The 2011 Jennies went 10-0-0 away from the South Recreation Complex.

Making Adjustments at Halftime...
The Jennies came back from a 1-0 deficit in their 4-1 win over Missouri Southern last Friday night. It improved the team's record to 2-0 when trailing at intermission. Last season, the Jennies were 0-3-0 in such situations.

Jennies Soccer (By the numbers)...
UCM owns a 12-4-3 record all-time against Oklahoma schools.
The Jennies are 5-2-1 all-time against Oklahoma schools on the road.
