Edmond, Okla. – Central Oklahoma (18-2, 8-2 MIAA) beat No. 15 Central Missouri (11-7, 8-2 MIAA) for the first time in program history on Saturday night. The Jennies won sets one and four, but the Bronchos took sets two, three and five at 25-16, 16-25, 13-25, 25-15, 10-15.

The sets were not close in competition. The third set held the only lead change of the match, there were nine tie scores total.
Carly Sojka had her seventh double-double this season, with a team-high 17 kills and 13 digs.
Kourtney Thompson also had her seventh double-double, with 42 assists and 17 digs.
Maddie Jones had 14 kills, and hit .321 in the match.
Haley Thompson had 11 kills and three blocks.
Mackenzie Harding also had three blocks in the match, with three kills and three digs.
Annie Reilly had a team-high 33 digs, tying her career record.
Shelby Winkelmann, K. Thompson, and Sojka had the only aces in the match.

The Jennies will play three matches next week. First up is Lindenwood on Tuesday in St. Charles, Mo. followed by a home match against Southwest Baptist on Friday. Central Missouri will end the weekend in Pittsburg, Kan. with a match against Pittsburg State on Saturday.Â
