The Jennies continued to roll with two more victories, including one against a top-25 team in Pittsburg State to move up four spots to No. 11 in the middle of January. UCM dropped a game against Truman, its first loss in a six-week period, to fall five spots to No. 16 a week later. They would regain that No. 11 rank after a pair of home wins over Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri to close out the month of January.
