No. 15 Mules and Jennies Cross Country finish first at Central Methodist Invitational

FAYETTE, Mo. - The Central Missouri Mules and Jennies cross country teams both finished in first-place at the Central Methodist Invitational. Tyler Stuber won the men's individual title and Megan Glamann took the women's crown.

The Mules had three top-five finishers. Stuber won the 8k crown in a time of 25:09.40, followed by second-place finisher, Adam Tredway at 25:18.72 and Ben Barrows at No. 5 with a time of 25:48.37. Cameron Bogue finished in ninth at 26:14.43, followed by Austin Gott at 13 with a time of 26:38.88. Michael Gawlick finished in 15th at 26:47.90, J.P. Espinoza at 16th in 26:56.04 and Spencer Hudson at 19th in 27:08.48 to round out the top 20.

Sam Lutz was 21st in 27:10.66, Harrison Harmon at 25th in 27:59.31, Shawn Conrad at 27th in 27:58.46 and Michael Frazier at 29th in 28:05.56 to complete the top 30. 

Steve Heim finished 33rd in 28:39.07, followed by David Warnex at 35th in 28:51.94, Eric Rogers at 39th in 29:03.53 and Brandon Schneider at 47th in 30:14.17. 

On the women's side, Glamann took first place in the 5k run in 18:36.60. Senior Courtney Klady finished in second-place in 19:04.67. Junior Allie Rexroat finished in seventh place in 19:42.30 and junior Alissa Keil finished ninth at 19:50.12 to round out the top 10.

Christine Wigginton finished 16th at 20:52.12, followed by Sammi Marritt at 23 at 21:15.83. 26th and 27th place finishers Tia Smith and Haley Russell completed their times at 21:20.55 and 21:27.67, respectively. 


The Mules finished with 15 total points, followed by runner-up Wesminster College (64 points), while the Jennies finished with 34 total points, followed by runner-up University of Missouri at Kansas City (41).

Both teams are back in action on October 26 at the MIAA Championships at in Pittsburg, Kansas.
