JOPLIN, Mo.
 - Junior Tyler Stuber placed 88th as the Central Missouri's lone representative at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships, which took place Saturday morning at Missouri Southern. Stuber placed 15th among individual qualifiers, and was the eighth highest finisher from the MIAA.

Stuber qualified for the national championships after his 12th-place finish at the NCAA Central Regional Championship two weeks ago, which was held on the same course as the national meet. The Liberty, Mo. native finished the race in 31:17.2.

With the conclusion of the 2012 cross country season, the Mules and Jennies will now shift their attention to indoor track. UCM kicks off the indoor season at the Doane College Multi Events, on December 7-8; the full team will make its first appearance at the UCM Invitational, January 18 in the Multipurpose Building.
