As a Senior: Played and started in 21 games, all in left field ... In 82 at bats  hit .341, mostly all out of the leadoff spot ... Drove in 14 runs while scoring 13 more ... Nearly doubled his walk total from a year ago and sported a .426 on-base percentage ... Hit a double, home run and four triples, second most in the MIAA ... Upped his stolen base numbers to seven in 10 attempts ... Finished the year with nine multiple hit games, including a four-hit game against Concordia-St. Paul (Feb. 21) ... Led the Mules in at bats leading off innings with 36 and reached base in 44% of those at bats ... Half of his RBI (7) came with two out and he hit .429 with runners in scoring position ... Continued to hit lefties well going 7-18 for a .389 average ... Finished the year with two hits in four of his last five games.

As a Junior: Took over as the starting left fielder late in the year, playing in 32 games total with 27 starts, all in left ... The Mules went 23-4 in Schumacher's 27 starts in left field ... In 111 at bats, Schumacher hit .441 with a .492 on-base percentage and .613 slugging percentage ... Of his 49 hits, smacked 13 doubles and two home runs to drive in 24 runs and score 23 more ... Had 18 multiple hit games in just 32 games played including six games with three or more hits ... Collected four hits in the NCAA Division II World Series against Ashland (June 5) going 4-5 with three RBI ... Picked up 11 hits in 22 at bats in Cary with six RBI ... Drove in five runs against Fort Hays (Apr. 27) going 3-3 with a double and a home run ... Despite batting from the left side, tore-up left-handed pitching hitting .538 against southpaws. 

At Kansas City Kansas CC: In 2018 hit .387 with a .484 on base percentage and 74 runs scored ... Clubbed 17 doubles, seven triples and three home runs, driving in 34 runs ... Stole 18 bases ... Walked 31 times while striking out just 27 ... Named to the All-Conference Team.

In High School: Played at Rangeview High School in Aurora, Colo. for Coach Mike Hamilton ... Set the single-season RBI record with 34 as a senior while also hitting .522 ... Named the conference Player of the Year and was a First Team selection as a junior and senior.
