Before UCM: Was the 28th ranked junior college player in the country at Northeastern Colorado Community College playing for head coach Eddie Trenkle ... averaged 25.7 points, five rebounds and six assists per game as a sophomore when he was named an honorable mention All-American ... his 25.7 points per game was the second highest scoring average in the country and he was also 11th in assists ... as a freshman he averaged 16.5 points and five assists per game and shot 50 percent from the field ... was an all-conference selection that season as well.
