As a junior (2011-12): Was named second team All-MIAA and second team NABC All-District after starting every game during his junior season ... averaged a team-high 12.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while shooting 48 percent from the field and 86 percent from the foul line ... averaged 13.8 ppg and 6.0 rpg during MIAA play ... named MIAA Player of the Week once during the season ... scored in double figures in 16 games and recorded four double-doubles on the year ... had four games of 20 or more points, including a career-high 26 points in the win at Missouri Western ... pulled down career-high 11 rebounds in a win at Lincoln.

Before UCM: Played two seasons at Drury University for head coach Steve Hesser ... Helped the Panthers to a 23-7 record and an NCAA Tournament appearance as a sophomore, averaging 10.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game ... Also hit 78 percent from the charity stripe and 49 percent from the floor ... averaged 12.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per contest while appearing in nine games as a freshman ... shot 55 percent from the floor.

In High School: Attended Waynesville High School, earning all-state honors for head coach Tom Bildner ... Long was also named conference MVP and first-team all-league after averaging 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one block per game as a senior ... He helped the Tigers to a 17-5 record as a senior and a 19-4 mark as a junior, winning the district title both years and making it to the state quarterfinals as a senior ... He also earned all-tournament team honors at the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions ... Played in the Missouri All-State All-Star Game, earning MVP honors as a senior as well.

Personal: Finance major ... son of Patrick Gamble and Teresa Gamble ... his uncle, Ray Roberts, played in the NFL for the Detroit Lions and the Seattle Seahawks.
