As a junior (2011-12): Appeared in 25 games making 15 starts ... scored career-high 11 points in win over No. 8 Fort Hays State ... shot 46 percent from the floor, 47 percent from beyond the arc and was perfect from the free throw line ... had two games of five or more assists ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

As a sophomore (2010-11): Appeared in 23 games as a sophomore averaging nine minutes per game and scoring 18 points ... also pulled down 22 rebounds and dished out 17 assists with only six turnovers ... had seven steals ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.

As a freshman (2009-10): Played in 18 games in a reserve role scoring 22 points ... scored six points with three rebounds in win over St. Mary’s (Kan.) ... had five points in 17 minutes against Westminster.

In High School: Played for head coach Chris Nimmo, earning Most Outstanding Player honors for the West Central Conference as a senior ... averaged 16 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds per game in 2007-08 to earn all-state accolades ... a three-time all-conference and two-time all-district selection, he also lettered all four years ... his assist total ranks him 11th all-time in Missouri history ... helped the Tigers claim the 2006 conference title and the 2006 and 2007 district championships ... competed in the Kansas-Missouri and MBCA all-star games as well ... also a cross-country runner, he grabbed all-state, all-district, and all-conference honors four times on the course.

Personal: Sports management major ... son of Dave and Tammy Slifer ... his father, Dave, is the head women’s basketball coach at Central Missouri … his older sister Brittney played with the Jennies basketball team from 2008-10.
