UCM Awards/Honors
• MIAA Academic Honor Roll (2017-19)

In 2019: Played in all 13 games and started both Mule playoff games ... Picked up 41 tackles on the season, 22 solo and 19 assists ... Had a regular season high six tackles including a sack at Emporia State (Oct. 19) ... Made four tackles for loss with 1.5 sacks on the season ... In UCM's playoff game at Ferris State (Nov. 30), recorded a season-high nine tackles ... Made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for the third straight season. 

In 2018: Played in all 11 games while making three starts at linebacker ... Saw action at both the inside and outside linebacker spots during the season ... Was fourth on UCM with 52 tackles, 18 of them solo ... Set a season-high with 12 tackles coming at Lindenwood (Nov. 3) ... Also had a tackle for loss in that game as well as one vs. Missouri Western (Sept. 15) ... Picked up at least five tackles in six games and each of the last four ... Finished the season starting the final three games, making his first career start against Nebraska-Kearney (Oct. 27) ... Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2017: Redshirted in 2017, did not compete … Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.

In High School: Was an All-Metro and 6A First Team All-State honoree for head coach Brandon Clark at Derby High School … was an All-Conference honoree and League Defensive Most Valuable Player … also earned Wichita Eagle Kansas Top 22 honors … helped his team to state championships in 2013, 2015 and 2016.

Personal: Majoring in Engineering Technology … son of Devin and Analia Carter.
