In 2019: Solidified his spot in the Mules offensive line as the starting left tackle for all 13 games ... Proved to be one of the better lineman in the MIAA, making the All-MIAA Team as an Honorable Mention ... Helped the Mules to lead the lead in scoring, total offense and passing yards ... UCM scored 31 rushing touchdowns and gained more than 200 yards per game on the ground ... Protected the blindside for Harlon Hill finalist quarterback Brook Bolles who led the league with 330 passing yards per game and 42 touchdown passes. 

In 2018: Played in seven games along the offensive line as a true freshman, including starting the final three games of the year at right tackle ... Helped UCM to the No. 1 total offense in the MIAA and No. 2 scoring offense ... The offensive line unit allowed just 23 sacks on the season, one of the best in the MIAA ... Mules passers were also second in the league in passing yards per game and UCM was fourth in rushing touchdowns.

In High School: Puni was a two-year starter under head coach McDevitt at Francis Howell Central High School… moved to offensive line in his junior season and never let up a sack in his time on offense… also competed in track and field in his senior year, and played volleyball for three years…

Personal: Majoring in criminal justice… son of Etuini and Jessica Puni and the younger brother of Derrick and Devin Puni who each played on the Mules Football Team ... Derrick signed as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in 2019.
