2013-14: (Indoor): Ran at the MIAA Championships, finishing 11th in the 60m hurdles ... Was also a part of the seventh place DMR team at the conference meet ... Set personal-bests in the 60m hurdles (8.61) and 200m dash (23.12) ... Finished fifth in both events at the UCM Classic ... (Outdoor): Ran the 110m and 400m hurdles ... Set PR’s in both events, placing 10th at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Invite in the 110m hurdles (15.69) and fifth at the PSU “Wendy’s” Invite in the 400m hurdles (55.92) ... Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

2012-13: (Indoor): Did not compete in the indoor season ... (Outdoor): Finished 16th at the MIAA Championships in the 400m hurdles ... Finished 2nd in the 400m hurdles at the Wildcat Open.

2011-12: (Indoor): Made his collegiate debut at the Doane College Happy Holidays Multi-Events, placing 14th in the heptathlon ... Earned a 2nd place finish in the 55m dash in the heptathlon ... Finished 5th as the opening leg of the 4x440 yard relay at the UCM Invite ... Redshirted during the outdoor season.

Before UCM: Placed tenth at the 2010 MSHSAA state meet in the 300m hurdles ... qualified for 2011 Kansas Relays ... Academic All-Conference ... Helped set high school record in the 4x400m relay ... also lettered in basketball and cross country ... graduated summa cum laude.

Personal: Majoring in business economics ... son of Kevin and Julie Banowetz.
