UCM Awards & Honors
• MIAA Academic Honor Roll (2019-20)

2019-20
Cross Country: Competed in all six races for UCM ... Set back-to-back PR's in the 8K and 10K distances ... Placed 47th at the MIAA Championships (Oct. 26) and scored for the Mules running 26:08, a personal-best at 8K ... Was UCM's third finisher at the NCAA Regional Championship (Nov. 9) crossing the line for the 10K in 33:13.7 ... Placed sixth at the Gary Stoner Invitational (Oct. 12) running 26:28.52 for 8K ... Also set a PR in the four mile race at the SBU Invitational (Sept. 7) running 21:10.81 ... Made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.

Indoor Track: Ran the mile and 3K races during the indoor track season ... Finished 18th at the MIAA Championships (Feb. 29) in the mile running 4:25.21, a new  personal-best ... Also set a PR in the 3K running 9:21.55 and placing fifth at the UCM Mule Relays (Feb. 8). 

2018-19
Cross Country: Ran in six of seven meets during his freshman season, including the MIAA and NCAA Central Region Championships ... Set a season-best for the 8K distance running 26:35.5 at the Kansas Rim Rock Classic (Sept. 29) ... Was sixth for UCM at the MIAA Championships (Nov. 3), running 28:33.5 for 8K ... Scored for UCM at the NCAA Central Region Championship meet (Nov. 17), running 33:20.5 for 10K and was the fifth Mule finisher.

Indoor Track: Competed in five indoor meets, running mostly the mile race ... Finished the season with a best time of 4:31.73 for the mile at the UCM Classic (Feb. 16) where he placed fourth... Also ran the 3K at the UCM Invitational (Jan. 18), running 9:38.88.

Outdoor Track: In four meets ran everything from 800m to the 5K ... Twice ran the 1500m with a season-best time of 4:16.05 coming at the Southwest Baptist Invitational (Apr. 6) ... Opened the season with a 15:58.15 5K at the WashU Distance Carnival (Mar. 30) ... Made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.

In High School: Ran at Olathe East High School for Coach Glenn Daniels ... Was named All-State in Cross Country in 2016 and was an All-Sunflower League performer three times ... Helped Olathe East to a Kansas 6A Championship in 2016 ... Twice named to the Academic All-State Cross Country Team.

Personal: Son of Jeff and Debra Kirk ... Majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy.
