Biography

In 2019: Played in 11 games as a defensive back with one start ... Broke up five passes and made 21 tackles, one of them for a loss ... Recorded a season-high two pass breakups in the Mules win at Northeastern State (Sept. 12) ... Made three tackles in four games including each of the final three. 

In 2018: Started at cornerback in the Mules first game of the season, but suffered a season ending injury at Fort Hays State (Aug. 30) and got a medical redshirt for the season.

In 2017: Was one of the Mules primary defensive backs, playing in all 12 games and making seven starts … Recorded 23 tackles, 15 solo and eight assists … In pass coverage, broke up three passes … Also returned six kicks on special teams for 153 yards, an average of 25.5 yards per return, with a long of 43 yards … Set a season-best with six tackles against Emporia State (Sept. 23) and two pass breakups against Nebraska-Kearney (Oct. 7).

In 2016: Redshirted in his first season at UCM and did not appear in any games ... earned All-MIAA honors in track & field placing third in the 4x100m relay at the MIAA Outdoor Championships ... also placed eighth in the 100m and 16th in the 200m.

In High School: Was an All-Conference and Second Team All-Area performer for head coach Terrell Alexander at Rich Central High School … also lettered in track & field, earning All-Conference and All-State accolades … plans to compete in track & field at UCM as well … a member of the Gold Honor Roll and the National Honor Society.

Personal: Accounting major ... son of Frank and Cynthia Broughton-Hunt ... Also a member of the Mules Track and Field Team.
