In 2019: Started 12 games as a safety, leading the Mules with a career-high 81 tackles ... Broke up four passes and came down with two interceptions ... Made four tackles for a loss with a sack and safety at Missouri Southern (Oct. 5) ... Returned an interception 58 yards for a touchdown to seal a Mules win at Emporia State (Oct. 19) ... Made 12 stops in a Mules win at Nebraska-Kearney (Nov. 2) ... Twice recorded more than 10 tackles in a game ... Was a nominee for the MIAA Fall Sports Male Student-Athlete of the Year ... Made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for the fourth straight year. 

In 2018: Played and started in all 11 games at safety ... Was second on the Mules with 69 tackles and shared the team-lead with 45 solo stops ... Made a career-high 10 tackles against Nebraska-Kearney (Oct. 27) ... Had at least five tackles in nine games ... Broke up four passes on the season, three in the final two games ... Picked up a fumble and returned in 42 yards against the Lopers ... Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.  

In 2017: Saw his first career action playing in all 12 games and starting nine games in the defensive backfield … Tied for second on the team in total tackles with 59 and had 38 solo … Two fumble recoveries, at Washburn (Oct. 21) and vs. Northeastern State (Nov. 4) tied for the team lead … Broke up four passes in coverage and had one tackle behind the line of scrimmage … Had five or more tackles in seven games, including a season-best nine at Washburn … Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2016: Did not appear in any games while redshirting ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In High School: Was a First Team All-Conference, All-District and All-State honoree for head coach Kelly Donohoe and Blue Springs High School … also earned Second Team All-Metro accolades … helped his team to runner-up finishes in the conference and district.

Personal: Majoring in finance ... son of Billy Bell and Heather Thomas.
