As a Junior: Was having a career year before the season was cut short ... Started all 23 games for the Mules at first base ... Was leading the MIAA and was fifth in Division II with 32 RBI, just five shy of his career high for a full season ... Was hitting .417 with a .893 slugging percentage which were both in the top-three in the MIAA and carried a .446 on-base percentage ... Drove in multiple runs in 12 straight games to lead the Mules ... Ended the season on a 12-game hitting streak ... Finished the year with eight home runs, including hitting a home run in six straight games at one point ... Of his 35 hits, 19 were extra-base hits with six doubles and five triples to go along with eight homers ... Scored 26 runs and stole two bases ... Crushed left-handed pitching to the tune of a .611 average with 11 hits in 18 at bats ... Led the Mules with eight two-out RBI and was hitting .484 with runners in scoring position ... Hit a walk-off, inside the park home run on his 21st birthday against Drury ... It was the start of a week which saw Taylor hit .444 with a 1.222 slugging percentage, four home runs, seven RBI and eight runs scored and saw him earn his first MIAA Hitter of the Week award ... Drove in a season-high four runs in each of the final two games of the year against Fort Hays State (March 12) ... Finished a double shy of the cycle in a Mules win at Newman (March 8) ... Made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for the third straight season. 

As a Sophomore: Moved across the diamond and took over as the primary first baseman making 53 starts all at first base and appeared in 56 games ... Hit .259 for the season with 37 RBI and 34 runs scored ... Collected 17 extra-base hits with 10 doubles, five home runs and two triples ... Totaled a .327 on base percentage with a .409 slugging percentage ... Picked up multiple hits in 10 games and multiple RBI in eight ... Loved hitting with runners on base hitting to a .354 average with runners in scoring position and .305 with runners on ... Got an RBI in 11 of 15 opportunities with a runner on third and less than two outs ... Twice drove in four runs in a game, once going 2-4 with a home run against Emporia State (Feb. 22) and then against Fort Hays State hitting a grand slam (Apr. 28) ... Made his first All-MIAA team and was on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

As a Freshman: Appeared in 26 games making 17 starts, all at third base … Picked up 15 hits in 70 at bats for a .214 average … Had a double and two triples while driving in seven runs and scoring eight … Was productive in clutch spots hitting .290 with runners on base and .294 with runners in scoring position … Had a career-high three hits in five at bats with three RBI at Lindenwood (March 20) … Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In High School: Lettered three years in baseball ... was named All-Conference as a third baseman ... helped his team finish third at the state tournament in his junior season ... also helped his team win two district tiles in four years ... also competed in football, lettering three times, and was named All-Conference at quarterback ... named to the honor roll all four years of high school.

Personal: Son of Dax and Janie Taylor ... his father, Dax, played for UCM Football from 1988-1989 ... Majoring in Agricultural Science.
