Biography

As a Junior: Started all 55 games for the Jennies, becoming the first Jennies catcher to do that since Kelli Kurka in 2009 … Sat behind the dish for 349.2 of a possible 356.2 innings … Hit .243 for the season with a .319 on base percentage and .340 slugging percentage … Drove in 17 runs with eight doubles and two home runs … Crossed the plate 14 times, picking up 35 base-hits … Threw out 12 would-be base stealers and allowed just five passed balls all season … Was UCM’s best hitter when leading off an inning, hitting .444 (16-36) and went 5-10 with runners on third and less than two outs … Tied a career-high by driving in four runs against Nebraska-Kearney (March 26), going 3-4 with a double and a home run.

As a Sophomore: The Jennies primary catcher started 41 games and appeared in 46 … Hit .231 for the season and led the team with eight home runs … Nearly half of her 25 hits went for extra-bases with eight homers and four doubles and had the third highest slugging percentage, .491 on the team… Picked up 17 RBI and scored 12 runs … Threw out six would-be base-stealers from behind the plate … Had her first career multi-home run game hitting two against Truman (Mar. 7) … Drove in a career-best four RBI with two hits and a home run against Missouri Southern (Mar. 23) … Her five multiple RBI games tied her for fifth on the team … Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

As a Freshman: Made 22 starts, 21 at catcher, and saw time in 30 games … Hit .239 as a freshman with four home runs and 12 RBI … Of her 17 hits on the season, seven were for extra bases with the four round-trippers and three doubles … Also drew six walks and scored five runs and was successful on her only stolen-base attempt of the season … Was 2-for-3 with a home run and a season-best three RBI against Fort Hays State (Mar. 7) … Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In High School: Received four varsity letters for coach Courtney Haskell at Hickman High School ... As a senior, named first-team All-District, All-Region and All-State ... Second-team All-District in 2011 and 2012 ... All-time leader in career RBI's at Hickman HS and third in the MSHSAA for home runs in a season with 13 ... Was a part of the USSSA World Series Championship team in 2012 ... District and sectional champion in 2012 and 2013.
