In high school: Was a four-year letterwinner for head coach Guy Albert at Warrensburg High School ... helped lead his team to four conference championships ... also helped the team to a district title and state championship as a sophomore and placed second as a junior ... was a two-time all-conference and all-district selection and placed fifth at the state tournament as a junior ... also lettered in soccer and basketball.
