In high school: Was a three-year letterwinner for head coach Tony Severino at Rockhurst High School ... was a part of three district championship teams and helped his team capture the 2010 Missouri Class 6A State Championship ... was also a four-year letterwinner in lacrosse, where he earned the McGilley Player of the Year award in 2013 ... helped his team to the MLSA Lacrosse State Championship in 2010 and 2011 ... was a member of the National Honor Society as a junior and senior and graduated with first honors, holding over a 3.5 grade point average throughout his high school career.
